Anyone whith a Gen II riding on Gen III wheels? I just put some on my 93 and notice a lot more noise during braking. Can't see any problems with the tires rubbing. Do they have the same offset?

My '89 has the GenIII chrome wheels. They fit like stock pieces. Perhaps you may have bent the dust shield on the back side of the brakes? If bent in, they can make contact on the brake rotors.
If you need a pic, my car is listed in the For Sale/Trader section under 1989 Taurus SHO.

Thanks for the info. I found the offset to be 42 as the originals. I am doing a rear brake job this week due to pads being worn out. I will see what happens afterwords.
