Nope, only tan and grey were available for gen 3 interiors. However, if you're interested in doing a conversion the gen 4 Taurus 03+ has a "dark graphite" interior which is available with leather, if you wanted the seats...I believe the rear seats will swap into the gen 3. Then just get some carpet dye and vinyl paint and you're in business. I'm thinking about this myself.

I am actually trying to put then into my Gen II, which someone has done before, so it is do-able. Anyone have any thoughts on that? I know the rears needed a bracket made for them, nothing too difficult. Itd be hard to get a pair of the graphite seats tho, I know it!

I just located a set of graphite black seats from an 03 Taurus, dual power, with airbags, (I know I dont need them, but the question is, the fronts wont be as supportive and would allow the driver to slide around the seats, right? They are like $600 shipped, so it isnt a cheap thing, but I just didnt know if they would even hold the driver in at all.
Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin, FYI the Gen4 taurs has 2 different leathers, a soft leather thats in the SEL and another fake leather thats in the ses and se, its more like a vinyl but they call it leather. Make sure its SEL leather, otherwise, its incredibly uncomfortable

You'd probably be sliding around. My mom has a '00 SEL, and the seats are pretty bad when it comes to trying to hold you in place. They are comfortable (at least in my experience - not nearly as adjustable as a SHO seat, though), but you will be all over the place. If you auto-x your car at all, you would probably want to reconsider, as you will spend more time concentrating on keeping yourself in the right spot. However, as just a daily-driver, maybe track driven occasionally, you'd be ok with the Gen 4 seats.

Just my $.02

Cool, thanks for the posts! I dont autocross the car, can't really afford to, lol! So I'l make sure to get the SEL ones. Also, what do I do about the seat airbags? I know I probably cant integrate them into the cars system, but how do I wire up the seats without accidentally triggering them, lol!?
