i'm too much of a fan of the gen 1-gen 2 seats to think about swapping in the Gen 3s. plus i have a black interior and as far as i know the gen 3s only came with grey or brown.

there is someone who did this with the buckets i believe, if you do a forum search you might find the pics of.

Those mustang seats look good. Did they bolt right up?

I wish they did lol. The two front bolts lined up pretty good after I grinded down the brackets but the two rear bolts were kind of a PITA to do. It took about 3 hours to get everything to fit right.

They are a little brighter than the stock interior but since I have had them in there not one person has noticed that they were from a different car.

GEN 1 to 3 will bolt right up , as far as the gen 2-3 wirings you may have to splice.

I had GEN3 SLO manual racks (foward / backward) on my ex 94.

I installed Gen 3 seats into my 95 SHO, It fit great, A major weight saver, the Gen 2 seats were so much heavier!. Everything bolted up great, the wiring is backwards. I believe the Gen 2 seats had female connectors and the Gen 3 seats have male connectors. (I might have that backwards) So I just cut the connectors from a gen3 taurus at the junkyard. I like the Gen 3 seats better, And I did the swap in about an hour.
