Gen 2 projectors

Morimoto H1 projectors with stock clear lenses. They have a great cutoff and provide awesome light for being such a small and less expensive option. I am using mini gattling shrouds and 35w 4300k morimoto bulbs and ballasts.

Oh, you meant on the headlight. I thought you were referring to the lens I'm using on the projector. For the headlight I'm building my own. I built a vacuum table and just going to try replicating the stock lens with polycarbonate. I didn't want to use the gts covers because they're just plexi glass and prone to chipping and breaking.

have to wipe them down still and paint some trim to hide the sealant and aim them somemore and what not :thankyou:

Anyone tries to do this think twice it takes lots of patients these cars never came with projectors and the covers dont fit like gloves,
idk y but the stupid shrouds like to come off even after they have been glued....

I think your projectors are upside-down.

It definitely looks like it, now that I looked at the picture again. That would explain the lack of cutoff.

Just for comparison, here is a video I took of mine last week. This is ONLY 1 projector that I quickly mounted in the driver side headlight. No adjusting has been done, no aiming and there is no shroud installed to remove the little bit of pesky glare you may or may not see. These are 35w 4300k bulbs, Morimoto H1 projectors, mini gatling gun shrouds.

nope not upside down im pretty sure cause all the adjustment is on top of the projector lol

Look in your pictures and that vid you posted,you can see the cutoff line on the wrong side.
I'd be willing to bet money they are upside down.

Dude that sucks, they're definitely in upside down you can tell by the video. The down slope on the cutt off on the ground is a dead give away.

well got the shrouds off luckly acetone and lots of Patiences just have to cut a notch in the bottom of the housing and back in business yea ill get to that in a couple days hahah

lol its ok we all fail sometimes....they are in i was driving around wit them look better but im still not satisfied with them i have to tweak them a lil more...............i noticed something though that i didnt like when the cooling fan kicks in it shuts the radio off and the clock and climate controls go out.then when i shut the car off it didnt restart until i reset the battery...im seriously thinking about shit caning this idea even thought they look awesome lol
