gen 2 bumper on gen 1, is it possible?

I was wondering if it is at all possible to put the bumper from a gen 2 on a gen 1. I love the way that the gen 2 front ends look but I want to keep my 89 so I was wondering if I could have both. I know I'll probably have to swap over head lights and fenders too but my fenders are in rough shape and need replacing anyways.

I think ive seen it done on a car that was for sale on ebay.

You do what you want, just that the body kits intermeshed in my opinion won't look all that hot.

I'm a gen two owner but i have to admit the gen ones do have the better body kits especially noticeable when the car is lowered with some nice rims, the side skirts look killer.

Word. The headlights are brighter too, but they're ugly.

Is it possible to use gen II headlights on a Gen I bumper I wonder?
