I have a 1990 show with an immaculate black interior that I like a lot. I also have a 92 with a kind of crappy greay interior that I dont like. Can I do an interior swap on these cars? I actually would just use the 90 as a parts car. I did some searches but couldnt find a straight answer.

the seats would fit. the door panels wont. the dash wont. really all you can swap is the front seats, if you do the rear you will have a big **** in the back. gen II dont have that. sorry if that isnt what you were looking for .

Well, you can actually swap over most of the parts. You will just have to do a little work to get some of the stuff to work. The seats, carpet, and most of the plastic trim will swap over. The door panels will bolt up but you will have to swap over the interior door handles and actuator rods. You will also have to do a little rewiring to get the window and door lock buttons to work. The dash will swap over, you just will have to do something about the passenger side air bag if the '92 has one. The headliner will not fit at all. The package tray may fit with some work buy AFAIK it won't fit either.

if you have a pass airbag, you can ground out the connector to stop the airbag light from coming on. 92 and 93s without the pass airbag are just grounded, the connecter is still present.

BTW Kzoosho ... I'm pretty sure your sig pic is WAYYYYYYYYY too big

Thanks Minnesho that helps out a lot. So basically I can do the swap but it will just be a lot of work. Also I cant use the headliner anyway cus my donor car has a moonroof.

If you search around, there are a lot of dyes on the market that you could use to dye the gray interior. Swap the seats and dye the rest.

I also like the styling of my gen 1 interior a lot better too though. With the chrome dooe handles and all, I just think it looks a lot better.

It's a big job but not really that difficult, just time consuming. The hardest part would be the door handle swap over IMO.
