i have an original 89 sho with 100k miles. car is mechanically excellent but needs repaint and interior. any suggestions? i live near charlotte nc (mooresville) one owner car that has been garaged until a few years ago.

Paint, find a body shop that has good reviews and then price it out. You get what you pay for with paint and body. A cheap paint job wont last long and a high quality long lasting paint job won't be cheap. Do as much body work yourself to save money. You can repaint a car yourself if you are willing to put in the time and effort.
Seats, look around in the classifieds and forums for someone selling good original seats. I have backup seats for my nice cars for when one gets too worn out. If originality doesn't matter too much then order replacement seat skins from Supercoupe Performance. They can reproduce the seat covers in any way that you want.

I would follow advice above or have an upholstery shop redo it. That costs alot of course. It depends on what you are looking to do.
