Can you run gen 1 rear caliper brackets on the rear of a gen 2?

You may run into clearance issues as the gen 1 was vented disks and the gen2 wasn't. I may be wrong as i shouldn't be even awake now never mind on the forum.

The two brackets are not interchangeable, but if you were trying to get 90-92 vented rear disks on a 93-95, yo can if you swap the spindles, brackets, rotors, and calipers.

The only exception to the rule is: You can use 90-92 rear calipers and brackets on a 93-95 spindle if you are going to the 11.6 rear conversion and you have the kit MADE to convert a 93-95 spindle to the earlier brackets.

Hope that helps

Who makes the brackets that allow this? I hadn't heard of that.
