I have unleashed tunes and you guys are claiming MPGs that I never see! Making me want to try GH. I even have a economy tune from unleashed this is supposed to save gas. Best MPG I have gotten off that tune is 21mpg.

My tuned mpg stayed close to non-tuned, but I do tend to drive like my grandpa....mostly.....alot of highway miles.
Did anyone else's tuned mpg change much over non-tuned?

I average 21-24 mpg with 87 gas(winter), 21-25 mpg with 93 gas(summer). lots of highway driving. (19,500 miles since Jan 1, 20)
HP/Torque went from 318/320 before tune to 339/415 after tune, plugs, 3 bar MAP, plugs, and GH intercooler
Are those power figures with the 87 or 93?

It's been straightforward to me. I have to set it back to stock before Virginia emissions testing, because the test doesn't see the two rear O2 sensors (with the tune) and therefore returns "fail". But it's easy to restore to stock and easy enough to retune after passing the test.
Do you get a seperate emissions sticker? Take a road trip to somewhere where they don't do emissions. We don't have it down here.

Emissions testing is required in Northern Virginia counties and cities, otherwise no registration. It's not a separate sticker but gets reported to the DMV. What I'm hoping for is to go past one of the automatic monitoring stations that then tells the DMV you were tested (as a drive-by) and that counts for your test as long as you pay the fee. Last test for my 2015 Mustang happened that way.

I was getting 26-27 mpg on e30 on my road trip to iowa and back. That was before the HPFP though so I doubt it will happen again now.

Thanks for for your work on the tuning Matt, I have 34,000 miles on the tune since Sept, 2019. Works just like its supposed to!

How is everyone calculating their MPG figures? Using the dash display or actually doing the math?

I averaged 18 MPG during my commute pre tune ( 10 miles, top speed limit is 40mph, probably 30+ stop lights) and now with GH 93 I'm getting just a hair over 20 MPG while trying to beat lights more often.

Are any of you guys mixing in E85 with your GH a/o tunes ?
I’ll usually put 2-3 gallons mixed with 91 ( since all we have is 91 not 93 octane here )

2 gallons will get you what you need. I run e30 tune all summer and 93 tune in the winter we only have 91 so I add 2 gallons.

I was blending 2 gal E85 to a 93 fill and found my GH AO seems to run better straight 93 octane. With straight 93 my mileage has dropped about 2 mpg even when I behave and went from filling every 5 days to every 4 so the decrease is fairly significant. Shift apply time is much faster without being harsh, but it also seems to shift 1st to 3rd prematurely under normal driving.

In all fairness to Matt, I haven't contacted him about a revision, or made time to learn how to to datalog with the SCT device to send him a file. I've been working (6) 10's for so long, it's everything I can do in life to take care of things that need to get done. Changed the oil and PTU fluid last weekend, should have oil data back from Blackstone fairly soon to check for oil dilution or other changes, 2nd PTU drain at 85k miles (30ish) since last was still minty fresh with just minimal powdered metals stuck to the drain plug magnet.

I had a nice 40 degree low humidity morning last week and gave the little pedal on the right a work out, that's where the tune really shines!

It should almost always run better with a little e unless your fuel pump isn't keeping up. Get me a log when you can...
