This thread is to gauge interest in the Rota Slipstream wheel.

rot-sp167051040sl.jpg

The Specs are as follow:

17x8
Silver
40mm Offset
17-19 Pounds
5x108 Bolt Pattern.
Hubcentric to the SHO (Will not need those annoying rings).

wheeldude.com has agreed to work with the SHO community to bring Rota's most popular design to us. For this group buy to Happen, I need 5 BUYERS. There no options for Color, Size, Offset. These are the specs that were chosen based on popular wheel sizes/specs for the SHO community. If this group buy is successful it will plant the seed for virtually ANY Rota product to be available for purchase in another Group buy form of Five.

The price is as follows.

100 Dollar NON REFUNDABLE deposit, Another 600 Dollars due once the wheels are finished and ready to be shipped. The total cost being 700 Dollars SHIPPED to your door.

So, Who want's a set?

If you are seriously interested in the wheel, Post up and I'll add you to the list. I'd like to get a official group buy going by next week sometime.

Any idea on how long it would be for the wheels to be finished after deposits ?

1.5 - 2 Months from what I've seen on other wheeldude.com group buys. Possibly less. If I have enough interested buyers willing to lay down there Non-Refundable deposit's, I will have a rep from wheeldude post on the website to try and ansewer all questions in the official group buy thread.

Kudos

Sam-

Tho I'm not interested in wheels at this time, I wanna say "thanks" to you for initiating this interest/buy. There aren't enough selections out there for us (5x108); this will help.

Sam, about the finish, silver paint? Or clearcoated machined finish? Kinda hard to tell from the pic, with my old man eyes.

And thanks for putting this together.
