All-

I am curious to know what is the best method for routing Autometer gauge wiring down the A pillar pod and through the firewall.

I saw this routing on a friend's car (SHOTIME) this past weekend and I wasn't sure if the dash needs to be removed for routing.

Thanks

I wired the ground to the dash and the power to the gauges was to a fuse in the fusebox that has switched power. the illumination was tied to the parking lamp wire (white?) but I should have done it to the instruemnt panel circuit (brown?) at the headlight switch.

There is enough space between the doorframe and dashboard after you remove the kick panel that you can route the wires for power and senders through and the sender wires can go through a hole in the firewall that (I believe) the speedo cable shares.
