Gathering interest for Drive/Meet

A few of us tried this over on TCCA with little interest so I will Propose this here.

A 115 mile Scenic drive though the Kettle Moraine area. It Starts/ends around Elkhart Lake in Shebogan Co. and starts/ends in the Whitewater Lake area in Walworth Co. Would not matter to me if we started in the North or the South.

Thinking sometime Mid to Late August.

If this sounds good to anyone please let me know, so I can get an idea of how many will attend, at that time we can figure out when and where to meet, then I map out some places to site see and a spot for lunch along the way.

I'll be up for this! I don't kow if I would take both cars, but i'll go! It would have to be on a Sunday! Maybe we could stop half way to grill out or his a place for dinner at the end of the day?

Sounds like fun. The weekend of the 12th would be out for us due to Tony's, I am sure you are suppose to be at that too, check your calendar.

I don't care if it's north or south to start/end.

Adding a poll to the first post might be a good way to figure out who wants what

I vote we do this on the 6th, leave from the south end at noon or 1, and have dinner at the end.

Kris - You are correct, the 12th is not an option for me either. We will be present at Tony's BBQ.

Everybody keep this going and I shall try to get a poll started.

Just a note. If you plan on stopping in the park, you need to have a state park sticker. I think you can buy a day pa for 5 or 6 bucks. If we drive and don't stop inthe park, then you don't need a sticker.

Also if you already have a state park sticker, you can buy an extra one for IIRC 12.50, the normal sticker is $25 .

Is that for a sticker dated 2005? I have one but it is from 2004.

Anything but the 12th works for us. As far as the dinner at the end (elkhart lake area) I am more than happy to list some places for din din.

Sorry for the long pause everyone. Tonya and I were married over the weekend, and will be out of town for the week. Once we get back, I will get the polll started.
Hopefully everyone is/will be interested in this...I think it will be a good time.

Also just trying to keep this at the top to keep it in everones mind and the interest up.
