I get a gas smell at a stop light when the car has warmed up. I've read the SHO FAQ regarding the gas-fume purge valve and canister but can't find them in my 1991. Does the 91 have them and if so what does the canister look like ? Do I have to remove the air box to see it? Are there any other causes of this condition ?

It is located under the ABS package near the air box on frame rail.

Also check the purge solenoid which deals with the gas fumes. It is around $70 from Ford and it fixed my gas smell problem.
