I have a gas leak coming my EFI pressure damper and my gas mileage has dropped to near 11mpg. I'm wondering if I need to replace my fuel pressure regulator or the efi pressure damper or both. Any help would be great, thanks.

Get a fuel pressure gauge and check out your fuel pressure while idling.

-Remove vacuum line from FPR with engine running and check to see if fuel pressure changes.

-Remove vacuum line from FPR and check to see if there is gas coming form the FPR getting sucked into the vac line.

If your FPR is leaking gas or your fuel pressure doesnt change when you apply / remove vacuum to it you need a new FPR.

There is no gas coming from the FPR and yes the fuel pressure does change. It looks like I'll have to order the EFI pressure damper. Also when I take the vacuum hose off gas sputters out of the EFI pressure damper.

That means the dampener's diaphram is shot. Get another one and then check your mileage again.
