funny starts...

sometimes i starts the car and it starts like ****. its kinda hard to explain but when i start it, it like starts slow and works it way up to a shity start and then idles low and most of the time it will just die. It does it alot when the engine had just been turned off and is hot. But it also does sometimes does on a cold engine. Also lately it has been taking a long time to start??????Starter?? Help!

It is not the starter. Please see the "Check engine light" topic you posted for my response. You need to read the codes to find out what the problem is. The electronic engine control (EEC) computer is trying to tell you what's wrong.
