I was just looking and oil coolers again. I was wondering what adapter that is? Seems most of the stuff is Chevy and Mustang related.Improve Racing makes higher quality stuff than FullRace...check them out...here's my setup getting started.View attachment 81982

I would recommend the factory performance package oil cooler as it is designed for the transverse 3.5 ecoboost SHO engine. I am running one on my non PP SHO and it works great, for more information they can be ordered through my website.
This upgrade took 1-2 hours to install and was direct plug and playHow long did it take to install and was it basically plug and play?
So our oil pump can support an external cooler with no Issues?Improve Racing makes higher quality stuff than FullRace...check them out...here's my setup getting started.View attachment 81982
It would depend a lot on the sizing of the cooler and lines. So our oil pump can support an external cooler with no Issues?
Do you what would be the correct setup be for our engine? and if so could you post.It would depend a lot on the sizing of the cooler and lines.
Edit:
Also you don't want the oil pressure too high to compensate for any pressure drop across the cooler. That can cause other problems with oil driven systems, ex. VCT. That and most oil filters are in danger to burst the filter medium around 90 to 100 PSI iirc, could even activate the bypass valve in the filter. Short version, unfiltered engine oil.
