?? fuel starvation ??

This is what I did.New 190lph fuel pump new fuel filter and new lpm Ted B's.This is a 1993 ATX with the D4UI.This is the problem after starting up and going about 1 mile the car sputters and die's,it will restart but act's like its not gtting fuel and continue to die,until the fifth try and then it will start and run fine for the rest of the trip until I shut it off again,then we go thru the same thing.Any idea's

Have you pulled the codes from the computer? The answer probably is just waiting to be revealed.

Go to http://www.midwestsho.com/ for directions on pulling the codes and code meanings. Post here once you've pulled the codes and we'll help you diagnose it.

As mentioned, check the codes, it may not even be fuel-related.

You might also want to check fuel pressure. What prompted the new pump? If it is a fuel problem, with a pump and new filter I'd suspect maybe an FPR problem.

The replacement of the fuel pump was cronic had starting and the fuel filter is hand in hand.Thanks I'll pull the code's tonight.

Sorry I really do know how too spell,that's HARD starting and once I replaced it ,it was like night and day start's the first turn.I picked up that solution on this forum!!
