The local parts store was selling me a Carter replacemetn fuel pump #P74117 ($90)for my 93 MTX SHO, I got 8 months out of the first one and 2 months out of the last one.

The Advance (partamerica.com) web site says Carter #P74093 ($98) is correct for my SHO. But they never have one and try to sell me a Master #E2001 ($55).

I got tired of the "drop the fuel tank game" and went to Ford and got a pump and gauge sender assembly #F3DZ-9H307-D for $160. It was money well spent.

I agree. The 155 lph Walbro in my car has been in the tank for 7 years and about 160,000 miles and still sounds healthy. Knock on wood.
