If you have trouble getting a Walbro (I was in a hurry and just went to Autozone) you can use the pump for a Mustang. I don't remember the exact rating, but it worked out very nice.

Remember he has a GenIII, I don't know if it makes a difference with the pump or not.

my fuel volume was like 5oz. in 15 sec and should be more around 8-16oz in 15 sec
and my running pressure was at 32 psi and should be between 35-45psi. Im pretty sure my pump has been on the down slope for a while now, ive been having to double key it to start the engine so the check ball valve inside is releasing fuel pressure back into the tank. I know Napa wants $165 for the pump checker is like $195for pump and like $380 for the whole drop in assembly.

yeah i replaced filter like 2 or 3 months ago with a napa gold, im gonna replace it first cause there is the possibilty of it being clogged, and its cheap enough.

oh yeah and the old one i replaced didnt have the greatest of fluid coming out of it, kinda rusty colored!!! So im thinking like maybe a new tank and pump and filter would be a really good idea if i can afford it.

I've heard of people with old-school muscle cars that get their fuel tanks cleaned out, it has to be cheaper than buying a new one.

On my 89 I installed a Mustang 5.0 155lph pump. It fit perfect, I only had to shorten a small piece of rubber hose inside the tank. $85 from Summit.

yeah, in all data it charges like .7 hours to clean fuel tank which is that there supposed to steam pressure wash it out i believe??? ya i would rather clean it out then have to buy a new one which will run me like $465. Ill look into the other fuel pumbs but i am thinking ill just stick with oem since im not going to mod the car at all, at least for right now. Gotta save money to finish the stang first so i can bring it down here!!! :dribble:
