My fuel pump relay went out and I replaced the relay box with another off a 93 SHO in a pick and pull yard, it lasted less than 2 weeks. Is there something that would cause this or just bad luck?

It fuel pump was changed just before it went out the first time, I was thinking that the pump was the problem, so I changed it again, so same problem, differant pump each time.

Pump is good, no power at the tank. Ran a hot wire to the pump to get it home. Runs good with the hot wire, but will not run without it.

Do you have power to the inertia switch in the trunk when grounding out the data link connector?

1) Is the relay being energized?

2) Is there proper supply that gets switched trough the relay?

A failure of either condition will still cause the same symptom.
