How hard is it to replace the fuel pump on a 92 MTX SHO?? I know it's on top of the gas tank, but I've never done it before......

Not hard at all. easy. do a search for fuel pump replacment

Some people cut a hole in the floor under the rear seat, some drop the tank. If its really rusty drooping the tank you may need new straps or a new tank if the straps are rusted to the tank. There are instructions on the forum if you do what was suggested above.
