fuel pump or wut

the other day i wuz driven my sho and around 6k the car kinda lost power and the engine light came on well i backed off and then the car kinda felt like it wuz missing really hard and finally it died so i pulled of on the side of the road and kept try to start it
it would turn over and then the tach would shoot all the way to 8 and then it would die
well i tried pummping the gas to keep it running and finally i got it to idle
so i drove it home and it wuz still jerkn kinda and then i just stopped
so i got about 6k to see if it would do it again and through first gear it wuz fine but at about second gear it leaned out about 5.7k and then i kinda did the miss again so i havent done it since
any ideas on what it could be

and therealsho16 get the codes out of your CE light and keep us updates so we can tell you whats wrong with you car..

so you know in some cases like your issue an ignition dismodule might going bad on you,... so youre going to watch out in many things with this engine.. good luck man
