Figures,

Just as things were going relatively smoothly, the fuel pump dies. At least that's what I think. It does not make any whirring noises when you turn the key, and does not fire. Is there any way to be absolutely sure that it is not just a wire or fuse somewhere?

I am pretty sure that the pump is dead. I can get a basic stock type unit for about $160ish dollars and I want to know if I can get dome part #'s for a higher flow pump. Can someone give me some makes and part#'s for some higher flow ones, and reccomendations on better ones. If I am going do this I may as well get a good one. It allows for future upgrades.

Thanks all...

If the pump is not running at all, the problem could very well be a failure in the electrical circuit that provides the power to the pump.

I posted a complete troubleshooting procedure for the FP electrical circuit back right after Christmas. It is located HERE: http://www.shoforum.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=17;t=004925#000001

It has all the test points and procedures to fully diagnose an electrical problem in the FP.

thanks for the test procedure, I will try that out.

As for fuel pumps, I cannot get the walbro pump through my local supplier. I am going to put another post just to ask the question about fuel pumps in another post. I hate ordering things from websites, because it is a huge hassle for me to order it and worry about exchange rates and shipping/customs across the border.
