Ok, got a 95 yesterday and drove it home. This morning went to start it and no start. Tried to pull codes and couldn't because the cooling fan and fuel pump are always running when key goes to run position. I don't care about the fan as much as I do about the fuel pump not turning off after priming. Everything worked as advertised the day before. What makes the fuel pump and fan constantly run without turning off?
What are the pins on the connector to put together so I can try to get the OBD codes?

There is the PCM relay in the CCRM too. A quick swap with another CCRM would answer the questions.

ok, finally got it to test and give a code. 512 EEC processor KAM test failure. Started wiggling harnesses and plugs, messed with all the fuses, redid the ground for the CCRM and finally got it running with no fail codes. I think what was going on here was a partial power lose to the PCM causing half engine not to start or something. Now to find out where, Where does the keep alive power come from?

Probably from the 30 A under hood fuse for the PCM and fuel pump. This supplies an always hot power to the PCM and CCRM. It's a yellow wire.

Ok, took apart the CCRM, standard parts from relays the resistors. One corner of the circuit card had some corrosion around some transistors and resistors. Cleaned everything up and put some anti-corrosion dielectric grease on ever thing and now it starts and runs perfect!

On to the other problem, the previous owner put in an aftermarket stereo under the stock (removed the cup holder). Not a problem but what they did to the wiring. There is a mass of black wires in the cup holder area that I know is for multiple grounds but they have all been cut away and no longer go to ground. I'm fine with repairing everything to back how it should but I have one wire with 12 VDC and when put to ground you know what happens....lots of sparks and eventually it kills the battery. Anyone have the ground schematic for the under dash grounds in the radio/cup holder area so I can sort this out and find the other end of the splice? Thanks for the help all!

never mind, still has problem with dieing after start dosn't mater which start, after dieing the cooling fan and fuel pump constantly run then eventually like after 5 minutes or longer they turn off and the car can be restarted from the run position of the key. Same fail code, so during the first start I'm partially losing the power to the PCM, reseting the 30 amp fuse sometimes works or I just hold out till things return to normal. I don't have any more time this week to keep working on this but I'll keep coming back for other ideas or updates.

fuel pump

Torinodan, If your car has a plug in superchip this is most likely your problem.
The same thing happened on my 95ATX. I replaced my ccrm and fuel pump.
nothin same thing, pulled the chip and the car still runs fine 4 years later.

no chip installed and the problem with the fuel pump is keeps running (with key to run and engine not running) past the point where it should turn off after priming. The fan and the fuel pump just keep running together until something resets and then and only then I can start the car. Otherwise the fuel pump and fan stay on and the engine just spins if in the start position.
