MY FUEL PRESSURE DROPS TO 12 PSI WHEN I TURN CAR OFF. CAR HESITATES IN FIRST AT LOW RPM'S. CAR HAS NO POWER IN ALL GEARS AND IT FEELS SLO, WHEN I REVV THE CAR IT SEEMS LIKE IT TAKES SOME TIME TO REVV AS IF IT WAS COLD...THERE IS NO BROWN DUST IN THE TIMING COVER TO INDICATE CRANK CANCER. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN LIKE THIS SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR AND ITS GETTING FRUSTRATING. MY ASSUMPTION IS THAT MY FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR IS BAD? THE FUEL FILTER IS NEW, DO ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS TO MAKE MY SHO NOT SO SLO. headbang

Inadequate fuel pressure will cause all the symptoms you have described.

You more likely have a faulty fuel pump or circuit, clogged or restricted fuel supply than a faulty FPR.

The 12 psi at shut-off takes how long? Pressure should hold near static value for at least three minutes. If it leaks down to 12 psi quickly, it's probably the check valve in the return line.

PS, Please don't use all caps. It is considered shouting.

I agree with what ProjectSHO said. You should replace your fuel pump and filter. Then you will have power. thumb
