ok i have looked everywhere but cannot find the answer to my problems.
a while back i installed a fuel pressure gauge. the sender is just before the fuel rail. It read 42 psi at normal running, and of course increaced with accelleration. Every so often i would have a problem under heavy accel. it would chug as if being drowned out, or choked. Anyway, last week my pressure became a usual of 46, and increased from there with accel. Now everytime I get on it it chugs. I have always kept my injectors and entire fuel system and intake clean. I run cleaner through it every other oil change.
I replaced my stock fuel pump in this 92 mtx several months ago with a pump from napa as well as the filter.
i assumed that it was a vaccum leak somewhere, but have not found it. any ideas are appreciated
