Sooo as much as I would like to tell you that I could diagnose your issue via datalogging... it's only a small snapshot into what is going on....

Don't blow your motor trying to get data that may not help... sounds like something pretty nasty might be going on...

Since you have a definite cylinder 1 misfire, not a "general" misfire, I don't think it is the knock sensor wire chafing issue, but it is free to check for.

Weak COP or injector. COPs rarely fail, you can swap between cylinders to check. Very likely the injector.

I ran torrie's tune and car didn't like it wanted to knock on the 91 octane here and I was beating the shit out of it. Plus on fresh relearn. It was loosing fuel and dumping boost I had two torn boots arc off the coil but it was loosing pressure did all kinds of wierd stuff. Re load you tune with a good relearn . Add some octane.. see what it does I chased everything I could find info on what it could be. And simply added ethanol e85 to my 91. And it was able to get turned up. Also if you changed your plugs and had any boots tear or stick prolly should replace the boots gap should be .28 is what Torrie wanted my car.

You guys have been more than great! I just loaded the config file onto my X4 and will test it out tomorrow with the less aggressive SCT 87 strategy tune that will misfire for sure haha and upload the log to see what you think. Its's misfired and threw the flashing light at least a dozen times in the month that I have had it tuned and untuned and when it does I immediately get out of the throttle and coast for 30 sec. It even knocks occasionally then throws the light.

Anything ? Did you figure it out.

Well thanks for reminding me. I loaded an Unleashed 2 bar 87 tune yesterday and put some about 15 miles on it and this morning I stopped and hammered it. It immediately felt held back a ton and in about late 2nd or 3rd gear it through the flashing CEL so I had to get out of it. Here is a link to the log from this. Thanks!

Seems like it is getting worse even with the stock calibration on the car. Just seems held back. Does anyone have the hookup on a new set of injectors?

Cheapest i have seen them is on parts geek. But personally i would be upgrading to the 1700cc if i had to do injectors.

I got one from a local distributor for $114 and replaced cyl 1. No more misfire! I am a little happier now, just gotta get my sunroof fixed $$$$$$
