I ran over a rock in my '91 MTX and it ruptured the fuel line under the front passenger seat.

I did a search and discovered a "Ford fuel line repair kit" should be available from NAPA, so I called my NAPA guy and he was unfamiliar with such a thing.

He says he has everything I need to do the repair - he just needs the size of the line.

I can't find that anywhere. Can anybody help?

Thanks.

I hit a rock in the exact same spot. Damn plastic lines. I fixed it 'temporarily' with some rubber fuel hose and 2 clamps. That was a year ago, still didn't get around to buying that repair kit.

FWIW I did the same thing but it was a tire instead of a rock(D@MN 18-wheelers) I just went and picked all the lines up used from a junkyard and used them as my new ones(That was my SLO)... I do not know what size they were though shrug
