No, not frozen as in not spinning, but frozen to the tensioner assembly. It's currently screaming, and I have a replacement that I found at the yard yesterday that is nice and quiet. Thing is though, this pulley won't budge. I've tried prying it off, throwing the tensioner on the ground, and other unconventional methods. The area is to small for a puller. Anyone have any ideas? I'd like to get this off and replaced today.

Thanks in advance.

Grab your propane or MAPP gas torch and heat the center of the bearing on the inside bearing race. After about 7-10 minutes, and lots of fire from the seals on the bearing, place the pulley over the jaws of your vice with the tensioner hanging loosely inside of the jaws. Put a socket a little smaller than the inside bore, about 13 or 14mm deep well, and beat the snot out of it until the tensioner falls out. Do not buger up the threads, thus the socket, and have someone catch the teansioner as it falls. And be careful... parts heated with a torch tend to be hot!

I was hoping to not take off the tensioner...yay. Thing is, when Brian and I were replacing my PS pump we misplaced the nut. So, we got a replacement, but it's very thin and hard to get a wrench on. That, along with having big hands, and being kinda tall, getting into position, getting the wrench on immediately causes a hand cramp. So....at least I know what I have to do. Thanks.
