I've been in bed sick the last two days and had to turn on the heat because I always felt cold (cold sweats when barfing)... Too bad I have to have the cars out of the garage. Actually, I can park them inside, but I'll wait a lil longer.

BTW, on Saturday, I'm going to sand that last stall, then clean and coat on Sunday. If anyone wants to drop by for a quick run, I could use the help. I'm sure Paul noticed how difficult this can be when doing this by yourself.

I checked the coolant a couple days ago on the SHO and I'm good to -20F. I wasn't sure what my mixture was, but I feel better now.

That reminds me, I need to start checking the cars at work on multipoint inspections.

I need to clean the other atll of the garage out so we can have room for all three vehicle inside. (my dad's confined to the Morton Bldg.)

It would have to be such a missive exhaust leak that it would qualify as an open exaust. Not only that, you'd have to have that leak upstream of the cats.

Clay, do you know how to properly drain system?

I used to intall them.

We just hook up one of these to one end and have the other end uncapped. Just blow out the system. :naughty:

OK, rather than typing in my words:

Use when manual valves are located at the end and low points of the irrigation piping. To drain these systems, simply shut off the irrigation water supply (shut off will be located in the basement and will be either a gate/globe valve, ball valve or stop and waste valve - see drawings below) and open all the manual drain valves. Once the water has drained out of the mainline, open the boiler drain valve or the drain cap on the stop and waste valve (whichever is used in your area) and drain all the remaining water that is between the irrigation water shut off valve and the backflow device. Open the test ***** on the backflow device. If your sprinklers have check valves you’ll need to pull up on the sprinklers to allow the water to drain out the bottom of the sprinkler body. Depending on the location of the drain valves, there could be some water left in the backflow, the piping and the sprinklers. When all the water has drained out, close all the manual drain valves.
