I have a 2013 that keeps blowing the front turbo. The factory one blew around the 130,000 miles. Typical blue smoke and lots of racket. In fact it's sheared the turbine off. I bought a replacement off Amazon it lasted 6 weeks. I then went and bought a Mahle from AutoZone. That one lasted a week. The one that pictured lasted 10 miles. Any help as to what's causing this would be greatly appreciated!

There is obvious mechanical damage on that turbo. Compressor wheel made contact with something. Foreign object must be floating around in the intake tubing but not sure how you would not have seen it when removing the turbo. Socket or some other tool dropped into the intake tubing?? Did they all fail in the same manner?

Yes, they all failed this exact way all the way back to the one I ran for 130k miles.

Oh yeah, something hitting those blades for sure. Really needs closer inspection somehow.

Definitely take off the intake track and run a snake through it or a camera. That's scary. You should also consider removing your intercooler and clean it out. If you're really Brave take off the intake manifold. All that aluminum went somewhere. Somewhere not good.
