Front soundstage...

When I installed my Orion HCCA 6s's I put the midbass in the stock location and the tweeter below the midrange (about an inch or so below the grill). This worked out the best in anycase becase the sound stage was as far apart as I could get it and still located relativley close together (midbass and tweeter in close to equal length). It might sound good to put them in the place by there window, on the other side of the mirrior, but that really separates the sound. You need all the sound coming from 1 location, otherwise it messes with staging.

Well, my DIAMOND 5.25" component set came in the mail today and the Q-logic kick panels are also coming in the mail. I don't mind the dead-pedal effect too much. I don't usually put my foot there. For the best imaging possible, it'll be a sacrifice I can live with. I just can't wait to hear these diamonds play thumbs_u
