1995 ATX. Ok. I have notices a subtle clunk sound when I first drive the car in the morning and after it has been parked for a while. Yesterday it was loud while exiting a parking lot from an incline and I drove it a block to the gas station. When I left the gas station I noticed the steering wheel was way to the right and the car also wanted to pull that way. I parked it and noticed that the drivers side wheel is pointed out to the left about an inch and a half while the passenger side is straight. So, what happened?

I vote for broken transmission mount or strut rod receiver or tie rod, ball joint, or rack or subframe...

I would recommend jacking the car up and supporting with jackstands. Stick the jackstands under the body just rearward of the subframe. Get a prybar and a rubber mallet and start trying to tweak suspension components. Once you find the loose ones, you are half way home.

My brother had a similar set of symptoms on his '95 MTX. The problem was a broken subframe-to-body bushing/isolator; the bolt was still there, but the bushing broke, so it was allowing the subframe to move.
