Ok so I spoke to Sirius radio about my channel line being wrong and this what I was told by a rep in the dept that handles factory installed radios. I was told basically that periodically timeframe unknown they send out a signal that updates the lineup and my car did not receive it. Now it has been a year and you mean to say that my car is the only one that has not been updated. I think they are full of crap now a few months okay a year and months nah. Needless to say I have sent both Ford and Sirius a complaint email and seriously thinking of heading back to the other side to Toyota because I never had an issues with my vehicles like i had with this.

Seriously? I hope you do get rid of your SHO and go get a ************* Toyota this way I dont have to read any more of your idiotic posts.

Why are you giving Ford shit for Sirius' problems? ITs not fords fault, never was Fords fault, and never will be Fords fault. You want to complain about something go complain about Sirius because its their problem that your radio isnt working the right way.

For your info this is not the only problem that I have and besides the fact that the radio was that way when I got the car from the dealer makes it a ford problem. The product should of been sent out right in the first place. If you bought a product and it is suppose to have XYZ and it had ABC what would you do? If it was not that way when I got it I would say ok Sirius is messed up but the fact is I got it with the wrong line up from the dealer. And for you information I have a Toyota for 3 yrs never had an issue. Gave up a Lexus for the Taurus and been having issues. Do you want me to list them for you?

LOL! Sorry. Is Travel / Traffic link worth the price? Thinking about subscribing, but not sure if its worth it.

I really like the Travel Link for the weather and sport scores. When you look at the scores it gives you a button to go directly to the station the game is on.
The weather with radar is cool.
For $2/month its really cheap eye candy and another wow factor when someone gets in the car. lol

Havnt used traffic and not sure if thats worth the price for the type of driving I do.

Aye you never know, if they can't fix the issues what you do? Being giving them the benefit of the doubt so far. You'll taking it too personal. All they need to do is fix the issues and all will be fine.

Wow... I've had XM for about 3 years now and not once have I ever had an issue. Not sure what ya'll are doing wrong but every time I have called customer support to reactivate or swap to another vehicle, I get prompt service every time.

Guess I get the thrill of another call to Sirius again.:madflame:

Amen brother, every time we have called Sirius we get a different answer to the same question. I agree with whoever it was that said "No wonder Sirius has money problems, they are the worst public traded company..." If the only problem I was having was with the Sirius, I don't think I'd blame the car. Anyway, Sirrus is very bad and they really need some better management...personally I can't see them being around for another 5 years with all the different pricing and stories this company is throwing out to their customers, I'm betting most of the buying public will bail on them....I know if their prices get much higher it's back to FREE radio, Mp3, and CD's. Because if a free station goes down it's nothing more that an inconvience(sic) to me 'cause I don't have any money invested in that station.

I dont want you to list anything. I have had more cars and more problems than you can count to. Its like buying a Blackberry with AT&T. You cant blame Blackberry because AT&T sucks, and you cant blame AT&T because Blackberry sucks either. Just like you cant blame Ford for Sirius' problems, even if it did come that way.

No ones taking it personal. I am just pointing out the idiocracy in your post.

I disagree... Ford makes it an option... Ford has some responsibility...:sun:

That's like saying that the cruise control made by an outside company isn't Fords responsibility....:angelnot:

Frankly, I feel the Nav system is not worth the 2K, when you can't access it on the fly, like my Garmins.... Ford buys at least some of it from Sony.... so is this Sony's issue??????:nut:

Actually... in this instance maybe the fact that the radio system didn't update is more Sony's problem than either Ford or Sirius....:dribble:

Just my 2 cents....:thankyou:

At some level... we are all idiots... especially those that continue to bicker about other idiots.....:woo-hoo::hail::laugh_ti::laugh_ti::laugh_ti::laugh_ti::laugh_ti::laugh_ti::laugh_ti::laugh_ti::laugh_ti::laugh_ti::evilgrin::evilgrin::evilgrin:

Huh? The only thing Sony makes is the speakers. Its not a Sony system, its made by Microsoft and assembled by Ford. Like I said before, you cant blame the company that makes the product because the service provided for it is bad.

Amen to that! It is call final ownership and in the end its ford. If the radio is messing up or not working correctly they are obligated to fix it.

The radio is working fine so Ford is not obligated to fix it. Its Sirius that isn't working. Not a Ford product. Does that make it clear for you or are you still going to be stubborn and next try to blame the company that makes the buttons on the radio too?

lol you don't get it. When I got the vehicle everything should of been good to go. It was not and no one checked to make sure it was fine. No one will buy a product if they knew something was wrong until they fixed it regardless of whose subcomponent it is. And that is the issue here. Don't take it personal man.

Once again, not taking it personal.

Its your fault, you should have checked everything from the dealership.

You are right everything should be fixed in a timely manner and I would be upset to but I think you need a new dealer not a new car.
If your dealer fixed all your complaints on the first try to your satisfaction we wouldn't even be having this conversation

Not here to agree or disagree with anyone...I know I'd be very unhappy if my radio wasn't showing the right channels so this is really nothing more then a statement. I have bought a bunch of new cars and I don't think I've ever had a dealer check the radio to make sure it was working properly. I hope you can get the thing working properly...again, not arguing but I can understand how it got overlooked ( I think).

Is it???

I had a Denali XL with XM... worked great for 4 years and then I accidentally left radar detector on and battery died.
After re-charging XM would not work. The start up-preview worked, but XM could not get radio to accept it's re-activation signal. Tried many times in many "Open" spaces... What's interesting is I had done all this before and re-charged battery several times without ever losing my XM after battery died. Never was able to get it to work, but rest of radio was perfect... XM did suggest it was a radio-mfg problem.... So who do I go to??? GM dealer,
Radio Mfg??? Or do I just disparage XM????

I just waited 6 mo.... and switched remaining time to diff. GM vehicle.... and said nothing.... till now.

I have also had issues with XM billing my CC at full price for a new 3 yr committment (over $500.) without telling me, and at twice what I paid for the original 3 years.

Son who has G8... marks the day his XM re-bills and has successfully negotiated the price down to less than $80. per year twice..... And... they told him both times it couldn't be done again....

What is really the issue here is that Sirius-XM have lousy customer service, and likely will be going out of business once Pandora and other services can easily be used with our vehicle audio systems.
