If you only "touched" the brakes, and didn't use a BFH on any other suspension parts, you are on the right trail with the sliders.

Another thing to consider is how much you compressed the pistons. if you didn't do both sides the same (I always compress them ALL the way in), it could pull for a bit until they adjust.

The other factor is the brake flush. make sure both sides are done. You really should do the full system, as the two fronts are on different circuits.

I sound like a broken record, but getting a Motive pressure bleeder is the only way to get a flush done right.

Another possibility is that, if you didn't use new rotors, or get the rotors cleaned up (personally I always get the rotors cleaned at the local muffler shop with every pad change...if I'm not doing new rotors), you could be getting different contact patches side-to-side, which will eventually correct itself.

In any case, she should still be fine for the drive.

You know after reading your post I remember having problems getting the piston decompressed all the way on the side that its pulling too. I wonder If I did it too hard to where it needs a little help back out?

Those I shall check for along with redoing the lides again. When I drove it work the other day it did pull enough to where you could not take your hands off the steering wheel. At first I thought the tire was going flat. Like I said, I have done a million brake jobs and never had this problem.

Really guessing a caliper issue is the only thing that could do that. If the car is tracking/driving fine it has to be a brake/caliper issue.

That is a possibility. That piston bore may have some corrosion or crud in it, so it is either leaking a bit, or hanging up the piston.

If the obvious stuff that you check doesn't do it, getting a reman caliper for that side may do the trick. If the remans are pretty cheap, you mght just get one now and be done with it.

If that's the first brake job since new, and still has the original fluid it may have had some moisture in there that is causing the problem.

If its the brakes making it pull when just driving then at least one wheel should be getting real warm, real fast. After a mile or so, just get out and (carefully) check each rotor for heat. Be sure to do the rears too as a problem in the back can do strange things to the front.

Unless the problem is a piston sticking that doesn't work properly. It may not cause one side to drag, which is what will cause one rotor to get hotter than the other.

No I wont be there. I ended up having to go to work today. I had to go in because I had to do 8 cars which one was a 15 passenger van. So, needless to say I didnt make it to he wife's car today. I didnt even get off work till after 5pm and I was only "suppose" to work 3pm. It was a VERY busy day today. Man, even though the weather was crappy, alot of people wanted their vehicles detailed.

Is anyone back yet? I just got back in the house after working on the car all day. Nothing new to report on my end. The gosh darn thing STILL pulls and I took everything apart and relubed and greased....all that good stuff. So, I am going to take it to work with me and see if the alignment is out again. The shop i took the car to to get tires and an alignment wasnt a good place to take it....although I was told this after the third time I had to get the car aligned. Oh man I think this place messed the car up.

Of course it was good. Not a real big turn out, 12 people at Bronners, 10 at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. 3 SHOs, my Ranger, Jims GTP, Ron Porter's Subaru, and a red Pontiac Solstice(I think). Oh man, I forgot his name,,my bad. Weather was great for driving, food was also great. Chris took pics, hope to see them posted soon.
