OK, I have a 93 ATX and when i went to take my car to the shop because of to much flex from the engine they at first told me a motor mount but i had that same motor mount replaced 4 months ago. When they took a closer look they told me that the H frame bushings were shot????? They said to fix this the whole body has to be lifted from the car, has anyone been through this or knows the best way to deal with the problem

I think they mean the subframe bushings are shot. You can drop part of the subframe down to replace the bushings. You do not need to drop of the whole subframe if that is what your mechanic is talking about.

I just replaced my rear subframe bushings today on my 94.

Took less than an hour including going to my other garage and getting all the tools and even did a driveway front end alignment while I was at it.

A floor jack, a pair of stands, some wrenches, PB Blaster, hammer, and chisel are all it took to replace the bushings

I used Gen III bushings on the rear, fronts were okay.
