For some reason i couldn't find out what my electrical problem was. My speedometer, tach, climate control, and radio wouldn't work. Replaced them and still nothing. So I turned the ignition key towards me and the radio started working. So I got me wondering about the ignition wires. I found out that there are 3 wires on the ignition that are (hot in start) Tested one wire it was fine tested the second wire it was fine. Wouldn't you know it was the third green wire. Replaced the wire and everything worked. So if you have this problem check ignition wires. My doors even lock when you put it in drive. All cause of one wire.

My new problem, I found out my engine oil cooler leaks and am going to tackle it this coming up week. But for some reason it doesn't want to run right. In order to start it, You have to push the gas pedal to the floor and when it starts it runs very rough and doesn't want to idle it just dies out. Replaced the IAC and TPS and same thing. The fuel pump assembly is a few months old and is new. Could it be that some coolant got mixed with the oil to make the car run rough. I am not getting a check engine light on. I will pull the plugs this weekend to see. What else can I check?

Thanks and Happy Holidays

Are your cams welded. You can pull the dip stick out and look for coolant, its nearly impossible for the oil cooler to crossbleed with the coolant. Just cause you aren't getting a check engine light doesn't mean you haven't thown a code.

I dont know if the cams are welded. The car started runing rough when oil started leaking and found the leak. I did replace all 8 plugs and replaced two rear coils. Pulled the dip stick and there is no sign of coolant. Will have time to look into it more after the new year. Thanks

Agreed. Pull codes and go from there. These motors are pretty stout so I am doubting a gasket issue with the oil/coolant even tho this is a very common issue with the 4.6/5.4 motors.
