Found On Road (with a broken clutch cable)

Going back to school this morning, stop at a stop sign, and bam clutch to the floor. Clutch cable broke in half. I am getting one tomarrow, is there anything i should watch out for while replacing with a new one? A little help will be much appriciated because i have very little time to work on my car.

Just make sure the plastic sleeve is present where the cable goes through the top of the tranny.

Get something to prop up the clutch pedal so you can stretch it out to hook on the lever when installing.

be patient as it is tough to fish that cable thru to the tranny.
