Found my "Hickup" Problem =)

ok heres how i found it... that one rubber tb elbow (stock part) that burst i "patched it" and took it on a road trip.. the car ran almost perfectly! till the patch burst then it started the hickuping again... so the problem was a boost leak all along, i guess i didnt see it when it first started maybe the hole wasnt big enough for me to notice but once it was boosted the hole opens up and the hickuping begins. so once i replace that rubber section with a nice 3" steal section the car should run like a champ! btw low end pull on the freeway in 5th is pretty strong =) :thumb: :cool:

Another reason why a quality WB setup is worthwhile. A boost leak is not a big deal if it is pre-MAF or in the hot charge pipes (y-pipe, uppipe). I had a blown gasket on my uppipe and still made 383whp, but my tq curve looked a lot different, and my dyno pull took 50% LONGER. But any leak post MAF and you will run VERY rich, which is why your car was hiccuping. Glad you got it fixed.
