Its possible its Code 1632 which says its

"P1632 Smart Alternator Faults Sensor/Circuit Malfunction"

What is this and how do I fix it? Sounds like this could be my charging problem. But remember we changed alternators so if this is a part of the alternator its been changed and could be a wiring problem of some kind.

PXXXX codes are only applicable on OBD-II (96 and up) vehicles.

Stay with the service documentation that applies to your car.

PS How about staying in a single thread. Multiple threads about the same problem are impossible to track.
