As a new member I’m trying to learn the Forum IDs. I’ve done some searching thru old posts and found some info, such as how one becomes a Supporting Member. Others may be buried elsewhere. When does a member’s label get upgraded from New Member to SHO Member? And how does one get points? I’m guessing a few are assigned right from the start as a good vibe thing. I was hoping for a Sticky Thread or Category that would be available for all who had these questions. Maybe I’m not looking in the right place. Thanks.

Points? Maybe I'm looking at a different interface. There is post count and likes received by other members for different posts by clicking the like button. The reply button allows you to quote that post and you can edit the quote for specificity or brevity. I don't recall if there is an amount of posts where you cross the threshold of new member to regular member.

I see Points in the upper right box when I log in. I have 3 now. I’m guessing those came from signing up, making my first post and maybe adding a snap of my ’89 engine block as my ID. Perhaps one of the moderators could spell out the rules of the road.
