FORScan info

Hey guys and gals,
I'm trying to figure out how to use FORScan. I know, dumb question. I hooked it up to my car and was trying to look around in the modules and everything, but I don't see how to program them or change parameters and all that stuff. Anyone want to help me out? Do I need a license to do this?

Yup Forscan for Windows, then Extended License needed. Tread lightly till you gain your footing

Awesome, played with it some last night and turned on the AWD gauge, turned off the double honk when you walk away with keys in your pocket while running, and turned on the hours gauge. That's about all I could do. I would love to add the climate control access on my right hand gauge screen, but doesn't look like mine has that ability. Anyone else played with that and gotten it to work?

Forgot to mention, my car is a 2014 non PP.

I added the AWD gauge. That was about all I could do. Seems there is a lot for F-150 and Fusions, but the SHO and MKS already have most available things turned on.


I'd love to get TPMS readouts and the Current Gear to display.

You will not get that to work with Forscan. That is 2013 only as the firmware is different and forscan does not have the ability to change. Same with the speedo on the left screen, only 2016+.

Because you have a 2010 you will be missing the most important modules like BCM. Most the changes you want to make are in the BCM and I cant get into the BCM in my 2011 Taurus SEL.
