Ford 400 - Homestead 2013 SHO Pix

We attended the Ford 400 Sunday.

Got a few pix of the new 2013 SHO, Flex, Police Taurus, and more.
















Guess what this is a pix of??????


Note the intake piping on the F-150 EcoBoost engine is much larger than the SHO & Flex.


And YES... there was a race.


The winner "Smoke" getting ready to start.

Looks like they've removed the spring clamps from the 2013 SHO since it was at the NYIAS.

My afternoon & evening pix would have been better but the box wine finally took its intended effect! LOL LOL Snore!

I would have gotten more Ford pix, but we arrived about Noon... and everyone was hungry. Wife has her priorities!!!

I saw two of em (2013 SHOs) headed westbound on I-94 yesterday. They are pretty beasties.

The 2013 looks pretty much the same (as far as I can tell by the photo's) as my 2011. Are there any discernible changes or major differences between those model years?

One major difference is the shape of the headlights, hood and front facia. Notice the small strip of body colored material between the grill and the headlight. It angles one way on the 2011 "Police" car and the opposite way on the 2013 car. I have seen the first pre-production Interceptors and they follow the 2013 lines, unlike the prototype one that was at this event.
