For those who live in Iowa...

My work is sending me to Iowa on Sunday and I will be there until Friday. I will actually be in Sioux City. Anybody near there? I will be flying in late Sunday night and have a rental car all week.

Any recommendations for places to see or anything?

I'm in Waterloo, NE part of the state. Quite a ways from Sewer City Why would your work send you there anyways?

I work for a corporation (Insurance Auto Auctions) and they just took over a couple companies in Iowa and one happens to be there. I am training the people who work in the office there.

Too weird! They just bought out the local insurance lot in Cedar Falls where I bought like 20 wrecked SHOs over the past 5-6 years. Actually the 99 Accord coupe I drive we rebuilt from there. You bought out Lenders and Insurers correct? If you come train in CF let me know, as that is only about 10 mins from me. :wave:

Yeah, IAA actually bought three places in Iowa recently. I just got to Iowa now, well Sioux City. I need some sleep. Two nice and short flights, but I am still tired.

I live in Lincoln, NE which is a few hours away from there. Cant say as I know of much up there but if you feel like putting some miles on that rental you could always head down to Omaha, its not a bad place....definitely has a lot more to see/do than Sioux City im sure. Thought I would chime in, plus Im bored. Enjoy the heat this week...I think it's supposed to cool down on wednesday.
