Ooooh, I love black gen 1's!! Let me see what I can make happen. I'm in need of a road trip. Lol. Would it make the drive to kc without any issues?

Seats need covers, dash has a couple of cracks like any 18 year old car. Carpet and roof is perfect. Its a ALL black leather seats.

How bad is the tensioner? Is there any rust? Would you drive it across country as-is?

No rust, I really haven seen the tensioner, and I drove the car 65milles to work and back on a daily basis with NO issues.

Apparently tensioners are one of those parts that uh...doesn't really exist anymore for these cars but there are probably at least a couple of forum members with a spare tensioner or two if you end up getting the car/needing one.

Funny thing is that I SOLD my spare tensioner 2 weeks before the sound started. :(
