I had my new fog lights all installed and working good, until one of the actual lights fell off. So I undid the wires, and epoxyed (sp?) the lights on there so they are good to go. I got them all wired up the exact same way as before. Now when I try to turn them on, it just blows the fuse. BTW, they are NOT wired into the factory (I have a separate switch.) Anyone know what might cause this to happen? I am getting really ******.

You have a short somewhere. Double, triple check ALL the wiring from the lamps to the switch. There may be an exposed wire that you haven't noticed. A multimeter will help.

I would check wire the positve wire come thru the fire wall, if there isnt a grommet in that hole, the sharp edges could work its way thru the wire cauzing a short.

I don't think there is a short. The reason is because I hooked up a brand new wiring just really quick, like I mean I didn't even run it though the firewall. I just hooked all the wires up just to test it.

when the fog light fell of, it could have caused a problem in the actual fog light assembly itself, which could blow the fuse

Actually the light didn't fall all the way off, it was still hanging by the wires, so I doubt that would have affected it.

Still sounds like a "short to ground"

Well, I was able to take off the actual light part, and hooked up some other lights to the same wiring and they worked just fine. So it must be something wrong with the bulb(s). Oh well, I was planning on getting some high output ones anyway.
