I just bought a 1992 MTX over the weekend :D that's in great shape, save for the missing fog lights. I'm definitely going to replace them, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for replacements other than stock. To be clear, I need fog lights, not driving lights. Thanks in advance... thumb

alot of these guys run some cool setups, when someone chimes in, I would love to see what kind they run and pictures. What is the difference between driving lights and fog lights?

Fog lights cast a low, wide beam, good for seeing in blinding snow and fog (like this past weekend's madflame )

Whereas, driving lights cast a long and narrow beam for enhancing your headlights on dark highways, like everything east of New Haven, CT on I-95

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but see my sig... and also try this thread....

foggies

g/l man.... i can honestly say that the fogs i have in now are probably fogs and not driving... I can see like 200% more to the sides... it's to the point where it seems really dark if i don't have the fog lights on!

I got my Hella H7's at Autozone for $60 bucks. They spliced right into the stock setup. It was a great imporvement over stock. I think PIAA driving lights are supposed to be the best but I believe they cost over $200.

I have the Hella FF75 driving lights, which are a GREAT fit. They also make the FF75s in a fog light configuration as well.

RacerX,

I picked up a nice pair of Hella fog lights that are direct bolt in replacements for our MTX SHO from SPMotorsports:

http://www.spmotorsports.com/ATCtaurus_fog_lights.html

Good customer service & email confirmation of order, fast delivery, probably the easiest "mod" I've done so far on my SHO, took me about 5 minutes a side to intall them, and they look and work great.
