I was wondering if anyone had ever bypassed the high beam/fog light shut off. You know, every time you turn your brights on, you're foglights turn off. I replaced my foglights with high intensity halogen driving lights. but the obviously turn off when my brights are on. I live out in the boonies and its nice to have a little extra light out the, plus its that much brighter when i have to flash some idiot.
Any Ideas???

I know people have done this before; I believe the write-up is on shotimes.com. It's an old mod, and also technically illegal (to have brights and fogs on at same time) but as long as you're aware of the laws...

Basically you take the lead wire to the relay for the fog lights and splice it into the dimmer switch lead on the back of the switch, this way any time the lights are on the fog light switch has power.
