fog lamp problems!!

My fog lamps won't work. The switch , bulbs and fuse are fine...what else could be wrong?

Same thing for me...I am not getting any power to the foglights..Anyone?

The book says this about the relay:

The Fog Lamp Relay is located behind the lower center of Instrument Panel (I/P) , on LH of I/P vertical brace

Its pinout suggests that it is a standard 30a automotive relay too. You can buy one from Radio Shack for $7. The relay socket might not have a hole in the center for the replacement relay's 87A leg, you can just cut that off.

the foglight connections themselves also get very corroded. You may want to check those.

I spiced my wires and hooked up new foggies..They worked for a while and then,I went to hook them back up and I am getting no power to them..So its not that its croded..Any other sugestions?I am gonna try that other switch!

OK for the slow people like me...Where is that at?

From the diagram, it looks like it's sort of up deep into the dashboard. You will most likely have to seriously contort yourself to find it.

The fuse and relay is located up behind the fuse panel located beneath the steering wheels you gotta get upside down but its there taped to the sides, your wires may also be grounded out, rewiring only takes about an hour if you are good with wires, i have a skimatic from my family's ford dealership somewhere, email me if it could be of any help ~chris
