Just for confirmation the ATX fluid path is as follows: from atx to right side of radiator, in and out of radiator on the right side, then out to inline cooler in front of A/C condenser on the right side of car, through the cooler, then out on left side of cooler returning to transmission. I simplified this somewhat leaving out the bypass return valve.

thanks forum.

A couple of thoughts:

You should clean out the lines and the coolers any time the trans fluid is changed, or especially if the trans is replaced or rebuilt.

There is an inline filter available at most parts stores or Ford parts dept.

I chucked the whole factory line fiasco and bought aeroquip saftery hose -6 with push lock an fittings -6 and ran the lines to the factory air to liquid cooler on a 93 sho, down here in miami makes no sense to add extra engine heat to the transmission, but I could be wrong.

Yes inline on the output side of the tranny/ input side of coolers, but doesn't really matter. The bottom hose coming out of the tranny.
